It has been celebrated since 1966 and is called Respect for Age Day. Grandma and Grandpa's Day is a beautiful time to thank our loved ones for the hardships of raising them. This holiday is celebrated on January 21 and 22, during which time grandchildren and granddaughters all over Poland give gifts to their grandmothers and grandfathers. The story of Grandma and Grandpa's Day

Depending on the region, Grandma and Grandpa's Day is celebrated in its own unique way. In the USA and Canada, "National Grandparents' Day" is celebrated. In 1978, this day was officially approved by Congress and President J. Carter. Grandmas and Grandmas have their own anthem and symbol, which is the forget-me-not. Dedicated meetings are organized in schools, churches and retirement homes to make children aware of how much they owe to their grandparents. In this way, the youngest also learn to respect their elders.

In France, Grandparents' Day is celebrated with the aroma of delicious "Café Grand Mere" coffee - a special coffee created for this holiday.
